Since then he's released 5 solo albums, numerous singles and EPs, and composed the music for the award winning "Clean - the Musical" (Brighton Fringe 2021). He is currently at work on a Folk-opera which he hopes to launch in 2024, inspired in part by the folklore & culture of Brittany, his home since 2017, as well as a new album of songs written over the past year. A charismatic and engaging solo performer, Simon's songs are infused with wry observation – he is able to look back on a long and varied career with an ironic appreciation of its highs and lows. From tales of life on the margins of rock and roll in NYC, where he lived and worked as a liquor runner in the notorious "Save the Robots" club during the 90s, to a love song written to a favourite guitar.
