Biography

Omeba Soto (born November 26, 1992), known professionally as Jerry Di, is one of Venezuela's most important singers and composers. Music has always been the best therapy for Jerry Di. He claims that life taught him to compose, while music itself taught him to live. He’s mainly influenced by reggaeton, ballads and hip hop in Spanish. Jerry established himself as one of the most popular songwriters in his country by his early 20s, writing and composing music for other artists such as Justin Quiles, Nacho, Farina, among others. But, he reached a point where he was not satisfied selling the songs he wrote and composed, so he decided to start a new solo project. His first single "Culito Nuevo", released in 2017, was a hit in his home country. Two years later he released "Verano en París", a hit that put him on the international radar and earned him his first Gold Record. Not long after, with the release of his first album, DILETRA, the performer released "Mi Cuarto", a massive hit that has over 400M views on YouTube and for which he earned Gold and Platinum Records. He now counts with successful collaborations with other artists such as Zion and Lennox, Piso 21, Justin Quiles, Randy Nota Loca, Guayna, Lyanno, among others and reaches +1 billion streams on all platforms. Jerry Di is currently one of the most successful rising solo artists in the Latin music industry, and the promise of a new generation of urban artists.
