Lagoa is an act composed of three experienced producers/musicians who have earned their stripes by working on many projects for a variety of artists such as Caro Emerald, EZG, Hef, and San Holo. To break this pattern, the three decided to put their heads together and make music for themselves. The first musical ideas were shaped in the place where they feel most at home: in the studio surrounded by analogue synthesizers, tape echoes, guitars, and drum machines. The result is a record filled with warm, laidback festival tracks.
