Blurring the lines of genre & gender alike, luvseat is an experimental, transfeminine creative who has been releasing music under various aliases since 2015. Born in Las Vegas in 2004 and based in San Antonio, she’s called many places home- including D.C, Seattle, & Philadelphia. During middle school, luvseat taught herself guitar and piano through YouTube tutorials. Meanwhile, she honed her skills on the clarinet in her school’s band. Deeply immersed in the SoundCloud scene, she found inspiration from artists like XXXTENTACION and Ugly God. Beginning with ‘meme rap’ tracks in 2015, she began to produce her own music in 2018. Despite the pandemic, her creative output remained strong, releasing an EP in 2021 and two mixtapes in 2022. Her performances across the US in cities like Los Angeles, Baltimore, and New York City reflect her increasing fanbase; cementing her as an emerging alternative talent.
