Eric Banks is a choral conductor, singer, composer, and leader of the Seattle-based chorus the The Esoterics. A native of upstate New York, Banks earned his bachelor's from Yale and transferred to the University of Washington in Seattle for post-graduate studies. His interest in the Swedish music took him overseas for a year on a Fulbright. Upon his return, Banks founded the choral group the The Esoterics, which has performed many of his works, along with commissions from contemporary composers.
