Rapper and song writer Trent Damon began beatboxing and free-styling during his high school years. His debut single (Duffle) was released in September of 2019 as a homage to hip-hop culture and his debut EP titled “Damon” released the following year portraying the hardships associated with his life on the road. 
 Born in the Gulf View area in San Fernando, Trinidad, Damon and his family moved residences a multitude of times (15) before finding a home in the east of Brampton during his teenage years. Early music inspirations stemmed from Soca and Dancehall before he was introduced to Hip-Hop by his older brother in the early 2000’s. He would sneak off with his brothers CD’s to listen to the subsequent rap artists of the time with special notoriety to; Akon, Eminem, Drake, Lil Wayne, Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent. All made significant impressions on the young Trinidadian-Canadian and continues to transpire through his music. 
 After making it to Canada in 2014, Damon keeps it moving from city to city around the GTA whilst drawing inspirations from new school Canadian artists such as Pressa, Houdini and Tory Lanez.
