You’re probably wondering, who is “RodFlame”? Where did he come from? Born and raised in St. Helena Island, SC, he was brought up around all genres of music which can easily be heard in his sound. Listing his influences as Lil Wayne, LL Cool J, J. Cole, Big L, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Juice WRLD, Kanye West, Mac Miller, Big Sean and many more. With a broad range of influences you’re never really sure what to expect when hearing of a new album or single releasing from RodFlame. 
 During the summer of 2008 at age 12, he wrote and recorded his first song ever. That summer marked the beginning of a passion that continues to grow til this day. Hence the title of his debut album “Summer’s Mine”, RodFlame feels as if the summer season is the best time to showcase his talent and truly be himself. He says “ I feel like Summer’s Mine gives listeners a personal side of me that most may never see. Throughout the album I go from being happy and confident(Like Cardi, Lemonade) to discussing my love life and how unsure I am about things(Day Dreamin’, Roller Coastin’, Doja’s Interlude). I then drift into consoling my female listeners with Let Your Hair Down and showing my views on life with Breonna’s Interlude. I end the album off with a very personal song called Still Workin’ and I’m basically trying to explain just who I really am and why I’m making music”. 
 As the future unfolds, RodFlame hopes that 2020 is the start of constant music drops for him. Stay tuned and stay connected.
