No Label (pron. ˈno ˈlɑbɛl) is the musical alter ego of Carlo Megighian (Padova, 1 November 1999), producer, composer and Italian multi-instrumentalist. He started to write music at 13 years as a guitarist for the band Animal Farm and during this period he started to develop a taste for producing, mixing genres and experimenting with arrangements. He soon became increasingly fixated with hip hop music and started producing beats for some friends in Padova. It was at this point that his No Label alter was born. In 2019 he released "No Label", his debut album. This project, containing beats in odd times, classical music influences, jazz samples and eclectic sound choices allowed him to fully express himself, weaving, chopping and pasting his way through a multitude of styles. In the pandemic years No Label began to experiment with electronic music, and released a pair of projects including the autobiographic EP "MUSICA EROINA". With his new project, "Cyberpadania", No Label reinvents the old "lento" slower rhythms that once thrummed through Italy's 1990s and early 2000s club scenes adding his personal touch and mixing them with northern-italian aesthetics. The first chapter of the saga, "CYBERPADANIA I", is out now. Alongside his solo works No Label has been actively producing music for a wide variety of artists, having both worked with well known names such as Crookers, Silent Bob or Rosa Chemical and also with rising ones such as Luchino Luce or Yaneez.
