Born and raised in Kosovo, Flaka Kiki is an Australian-based singer/songwriter. From early childhood, Flaka’s passion for music and dance inspired her to explore the depths of her creativity, receiving unparalleled support from her father. As Flaka’s songbooks began to fill up, she set about her first official release, ‘Letting You Go,’ in March 2021 while continuing to bring her debut album, ‘Flame,’ to fruition in April 2023. The album paints a powerful picture of Flaka’s relationship journeys, providing a glimpse into both the ups and downs of her experiences. The inclusion of newer, more upbeat singles such as ‘One Night’ and ‘Lose Control’ at the top of the tracklist demonstrates Flaka’s ability and intention to broaden her horizons into more electronic and dance genres. When asked about her decision to open Flame with these songs, Flaka said, “I knew that it would come as a pleasant surprise to my listeners and hint at what else may come in the future. Selecting the order of songs for an album isn't easy, but I knew I’d like to set Flame off with a bang.” As a lyricist, Flaka’s connection with music has always been about telling a story. Pulling no punches, she shares courageously from an open heart. Flaka’s vulnerability, melody, and storyline remain at the core of her music.
