Edinburgh-born Ripley made her name on London’s cabaret scene with the critically acclaimed satirical show Like A Sturgeon. In the summer of 2019, Ripley took a break from the stage to focus on writing with a view to independently release her own music. The first single to emerge is a collaboration with Scottish producer Allan McIntyre titled Electric Democracy.A political space-disco stomper, Electric Democracy is a reflection of Britain’s political and societal crisis.  Ripley's first self-produced single, the anti-Trump anthem Fake News, followed in the spring of 2020 and the EP One Foot On The Ladder comes October 2020.
