Towards the end of 2023, Shanty will continue actively producing her latest single. This time, she collaborated with CeliaJ, a Canadian singer-songwriter. Their unplanned encounter at an event led to a meaningful conversation, realizing that their creative ideas harmonized. They decided to embark on a duo project, commencing with a workshop where they shared ideas, guided by Soltice, a DJ, as the beat maker. Blending Shanty's Disco expertise with CeliaJ's Jamaican roots in Reggae, Soul, Afrobeat, and R&B posed a challenge. Despite differing vocal tones, the collaboration resulted in something uniquely special. Soltice and Naken handled musical arrangements, while Nancy Pontoh served as the vocal director. The track "Count On Me," written by CeliaJ, was crafted using the Afrobeat genre and is now available for dance music enthusiasts on Digital Stream Platforms and dance floors globally. This international duo has more songs in the pipeline for future launches.
