Joshua Alexander has been playing instruments since he was 10 years old. He focus on learning electric bass on junior high and decided to focus on classical double bass at Perguruan Cikini Music School, Jakarta. He took masterclass from some of great jazz musicians from NYC such as Benny Green, Aaron Goldberg & Ari Roland. Few years back he got opportunities to perform with some of Indonesian Jazz Musician such as Benny Likumahuwa, Batman Quartet, Dua Empat, Nial Djuliarso Group, Oele Pattiselanno, East Side Jazz Initiative etc. He has been performed at Java Jazz Festival (2016,2019,2020,2022), Jazz Goes To Campus, Jazz Gunung Bromo, Ubud Village Jazz Festival, Motion Blue Jakarta, TP Jazz Bandung, Fabster Stage Jakarta, Jakarta Fair, Indonesian Idol, Istana Merdeka (Presidential Palace) Jakarta,Indonesia, Ly Thai To Monument (Hanoi,Vietnam),Thailand International Jazz Conference, National Museum of Art Bucharest, Romania, National TV Station, and many more
