The Danish Artist, Theo X, is no longer what he calls Copenhagen’s “Dirty little secret”. The Success of his first three self-released singles, “Junkie Lover”, “Hey Chico” and “You Don’t Wanna Dance”, saw him perform on Danish national TV and, somewhat surprisingly, in front of the Danish Royal family – a defining moment in the career of a proud out LGBTQ+ artist. Furthermore Theo X recently accepted the title of Ambassador for Copenhagen 2021, the "Pride of the year”, taking place in his hometown of Copenhagen in August 2021. His third single “You Don’t Wanna Dance” was featured in many media outlets all over the world, and GAYTIMES Magazine called his self directed music video “An Ode to all LGBTQ+ youth around the world”. The newest song from Theo X is a damn club BANGER! Theo X woke up one day and realized all his friends had grown up, gotten married, moved to the country side and left him behind in the city. The feeling of being perpetually young had vanished, and Theo X and his Peter Pan syndrome was sat wallowing in their own pity. That is what Theo X’s new song “Friends” is about. This song encapsulates the feeling of being 28 still going on 18. “Friends” premiered on Danish national television, at Rainbow Awards on the 2nd of October 2020.
