Biography

Meet Rasyiqa - the girl who spent too much time watching cable TV and found her true passion in singing showtunes. Raised by the golden era of Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, MTV, and Disney Channel, Rasyiqa's music is a unique blend of pop and rock with a hint of early 2000s nostalgia that will have you feeling like you're in a coming-of-age movie where Hilary Duff or The Jonas Brothers might fill in the soundtrack for it. After spending four years working behind the scene in a record label, she realizes that she couldn't suppress her desire of wanting to make music and performing. Collaborated with talented artists such as cellosux, Sade Susanto and RMHRTO on the production of her debut single 'Reckless', followed by "Get Up (Get Out!)" and 'I've Had Enough' produced by Heston Prasetyo (from Vintonic), Rasyiqa's songs shows personal reflection of her own experiences. Though her lyrics are simple, direct like something you read in someone’s diary, her music isn't all about having hooks and infectious melodies - but it’s more about her emotional depth and more importantly about her finally taking charge, as she is growing out of her side character mode from all these years.
