Born in Newport News, Virginia on January 17th, 2001 but repping out of San Antonio, Texas, Trajohn “Donte” Brooks has a certain musical prowess that leaves you intrigued for more. Born to a mother at age 13 and Losing his father at the ripe age of 5 to gun violence, he would become no stranger to the dangers and complexities of life, moving to nearly 12 schools by the time he was 14. Raised by majority women in the family, he would only be exposed to Old School Soul and R&B by the likes of his mother. This contained artist like Keyshia Cole , Fantasia , Aaliyah , Ciara , Beyoncé and many others. Being the youngest he would be sheltered as much as possible by his mother and grandmother. Making him write poetry, read books, and keep his head in school was no easy task as the world around him would constantly change. Not yet introduced to the hip hop scene til the age of 12 , when he received his first iPod from his older cousin, he would begin to expand his taste. Yearning to find songs that would remind him of the times he would be with his mother, this would encourage him to find more rule bending artists. These would be of the likes of Drake ,Gunna , Future , Frank Ocean , Chris Brown, YoungBoy Never Broke Again ,Marvin Gaye ,Big K.R.I.T. , J. Cole ,D Smoke, WESTSIDE BOOGIE and NoCap. Such artist would heavily influence him as he began his career at the age of 18.
