Nils Krake is a singer/songwriter from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In 2015 he released his first single 'Loves Like She Lives' and in 2016 he released his EP '7 Tracks'. In 2019 Nils teamed up with Jerome Phoenix and released the track Fallin'. In that same year he wrote the song My Home with composer Jeffrey van Rossum for Dutch movie 'Just Friends'. In January 2022 Nils was featured in the Dutch TV-show "Better than Ever" where he performed the song Burning House - Better Than Ever / Aflevering 5 / Live (original by Cam). He also released a studio version of Burning House. On August 1st 2022 he released the song Rosie (original by Joan Armatrading). Songs From The Vault, Pt. 1 was released on September 1st, 2022. The story behind this album goes back to 2009, hence the album title - Songs from the Vault. The album has the sound and vibe of '70s westcoast music, made famous by artists such as Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins and The Doobie Brothers. Nils’ music can best be characterized as catchy pop influenced by soul, jazz and country music.
