The samba tradition of Brazil has been updated by producer/composer Rica Amabis. The producer of recordings by SP Funk, Otto, Los Sea Dux, Andrea Marquee, Macao Zumbi, and Walter Franco, Amabis released an album of his electronics-meets-samba compositions, Sambadelic, in 2000.
