Yasmine Jasmine Abukhzam better known as her artist name Yaz Kzm was born in June 27th 1996 in Thousand Oaks. Born and raised in California under a diverse Lebanese background, Yaz Kzm encompasses relatability and cultural uniqueness in her music. Hoping to be an inspiration to LGBT+ youth like herself but also to those all around the world, Yaz Kzm attempts to dig deep into her experiences and pain to bring healing and light to her story and the listeners who hear her music. Yaz has multiple influences on her music that has shaped her into the artist she is today, some of these inspirations include pop artists as well as r&b artists such as Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, as well as Sam Smith. Her unique positive take on the world will shed the way for her music career beginning with her first EDM song called, “In The Dark.” Ft Rentz.
