Glass Bottom Boat is Tone Dogg Raw (@tonedoggraw) and Cal_S_thetics (@cal_s_thetics) when they combine their artistic talents into a single entity. Both are accomplished producer/rappers on their own right but together they create a potent duo. Both have shared the stage as a group with the “who’s who” of hip hop including mentionable acts such KRS-One, Ice-T, The Pharcyde, Pharoahe Monch, Strong Arm Steady, Elzhi, 2Mex, Abstract Rude, Rebels to the Grain, Vel the Wonder, and many more. 
 Lyric driven, but flow conscious, the two are at home most on smooth grooves with drums that slap. Fresh off the release of the 4 “Definitive” albums all releases in 2017, “The Penmens’ Ship” is surely bound to continue to catch more notice as more heads slowly get tuned to their unique frequencies and their suddenly deep catalog. 
The duo has additionally been responsible for the release of some 12 other releases since 2016 as they collaborated to launch an independent label, Doggma Uno with other acts such as @Tone Dogg Raw, @AO, @EQ, and @Tightly Sealed. Don’t look for them to stop anytime soon as both Cal and Tone have collaborated with a number of other acts continuing their tradition of being a “Window to the World” allow fellow artists to flourish with them.
