Benny is an independent music producer and singer-songwriter based in Barcelona that creates music in his own introspective story-telling style across different genres. Born in Belfast he grew up playing guitar from a young age and was always fascinated by music. After dabbling in small rock gigs and busking in the city centre he discovered his love for music production in his teenage years. Fast forward to 2023, with the release of Escapism, the direction Benny is heading towards is a moody and mellow Acoustic-Folk/Slowcore style. This style is often guitar-based but not constrained to any particular instrumentation, relying on a textured psychedelic approach to production, taking inspiration from artists like Radiohead, Bon Iver, Mk.gee, Bonobo, Beach House. This is exemplified by his new single "What's Left of Me" that will be released August 30th 2023.
