MjRt is a musical collective with a shared passion for spacious sounds and spontaneous improvisation. Centered around the emotive sounds of the slide guitar, the trio explore the use of dynamics, texture and genre to create their own unique instrumental sound. MjRt features Michael J Relf (Guitars), Paddy Blight (Basses) and Garry Kroll (Drums). You'll hear a homage to the 1950's groups (such as the Shadows), whilst nodding heavily to the grunge-rock era of the 90's (Nirvana, Radiohead etc) and many other references from when guitars were icons in their own right. As the music itself is a varied soundtrack, the visual aesthetic is also a cinematic experience for viewers to enjoy.
