Oreana is a post-rock, instrumental solo project by Jill Paslier. Jill started playing as a solo project in 2020 and since that time she has released two albums, an EP and some singles. Jill also plays bass in Pelagic band Hiroe, who’s debut album released July 8, 2022, and plays guitar and bass with Promissory. For the latest Oreana album, Jill wrote and recorded guitar and bass and worked with live drummers. She also collaborated with other guitar players to bring something fresh into the songs. The 2022 album, Dubai, features live drummers - Dennis Abstiens (At the Grove), Rob Evraets Jr. (Hereafter), and Gabriel Oliveira. This album also features guest guitar players - Bryan Freymuth (For the Shire and Driving Slow Motion), Mark Jamelo (thamjam), and a guest bass player - Josh Riggs (Empires of Light). Jill is thrilled to have had the opportunity to partner with such talented musicians in the creation of this album. This album was mixed and mastered by Jose Silva.
