Santa Cruz, California based FX is comprised of Douglas Morton (keys, vocals) Dave Preshutti (guitars), Kevin Monahan (keys), Evan Jiles (bass) and Dave DuCey (drums) & Valentina (vocals). Crafting an 80s blend of hi energy synth rock with an energetic rock pop feel. The band started in 1983 gigging around California and were featured on MTVs Basement Tapes in Denise Gallant’s video of their song In Motion. FX’s tunes were also featured in MTV Cribs show with Tony Hawk.
