Biography

DJ, producer Larry Peace is finally on the come up with a commercial-dance sound that’s permeated the world over the last few years. Armed with a rapidly increasing catalogue, showing no sign of slowing down, Peace wanted to make certain he held on to his love and passion for house music. To achieve this, Peace invented Victor Lowdown to yield his own brand of nu-disco and deep, jackin’ house music. Lowdown is heavily influenced by 80’s R&B, Minneapolis funk and Chicago house music. The primary genres he was raised on as a child and began his DJ career spinning. This also offers him the opportunity to sample from a catalog of material that he’s loved all of his life and hasn’t really been tapped into too deepl. His first solo release, “No Worries” is the perfect example of this. In addition to releasing solo material, he’s put the “Lowdown Sound” behind artists like Lee Dagger (Bimbo Jones), Courtney Harrell (from The Voice), Tito Jackson, Amber Dirks, Tony Fuel, EEDB and more, with zero signs of slowing down. Chalk another one up for the “no coast house music scene” for there’s a new house sheriff in town and his sound is lowdown.
