Tamika Love Jones stepped on the scene in 2009 captivating audiences in the most legendary venues, such as: The Kennedy Center, The Blue Note, and House of Blues performing alongside the likes of Zap Mama, Mumu Fresh, Ari Lennox, Ledisi, and Gordon Chambers. Her career in music began when the legendary music producer Chucky Thompson hand picked her as an artist for his label Chucklife Productions. Tamika worked with Chucky for years gaining insight into the music industry and honing her skills as a songwriter, alongside artists such as Faith Evans, Mary J. Blige, Nick Cannon, Mya and Lil’ Kim. Once the foundation was set for Jones, she began to create her own aesthetic as a performing artist. She turned her attention to social justice issues and those musicians that fearlessly discussed them, such as Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill and Common. Armed with a strong mission to enlighten, heal and empower fans with her gift, Tamika's voice in the music industry is essential and a force to be reckoned with. To date Tamika Love Jones has released three albums of original music incorporating Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk, Blues and Classical influences.
