Growing up in Bermondsey, South East London, Laurena engaged with music from a young age. Laurena knew she always wanted to be a singer, and attended a performing arts school from the age of six, which gave her a taste for stages and studio lights from the get-go. she properly started penning her own material aged 14, recording videos in her bedroom, It was one of these videos that saw her get snapped up by a manager aged 16.
