Known by his stage name Drz Romeo, Asemahle Mvandaba comes from Stutterheim in the Eastern Cape Province. He was born on 1st September 2002. He is a producer, DJ, beatmaker, songwriter, and rapper. He produces music for different music genres such as Gqom, Amapiano, Deep House, Hip Hop/Rap, Trap, 3-Step Afro House, Afro Beats, among others. He started to make music when he was just 12 after being influenced by his late dad at that age, who was a Gospel musician and producer. Drz Romeo started his journey with personal loss. In 2011, he lost his gospel artist and producer father, whose legacy and passion for music inspired young Romeo to follow in his steps. That was the day when a burning desire was initiated in him to find his way into the music industry.
