Growing up in a city full of murder, drug abuse and neglect . “Dope Donny” stands out from a lot of his peers . From his sound to his versatility, he has made an impact on his hometown like no other , showing his city that the dream is possible . Being raised by his mother with his 3 other siblings living house to house on section 8 and government assistance . His music reflects his struggle along with his growth in life . 
 Donny really started to develop who he was after going into the military for 3 years and being drugged by the doctors. He was a Guinea pig to the service as they gave him pills such as ; Adderal xr , Prozac , buspirone , Xanax and 30 plus more medications . It took Donny thru a life spiral of mental problems as he seeked help, it opened his mind to a bigger picture and a different sound which helped him develop “Dophetamine”. Dophetamine is a anti phetamine that describes his mental experience and struggle in the military . He dropped his first album “Dophetamine Dreams” on all mainstream platforms with songs produced by ; CardoGotWings , Dumdrumz and more in 2016 which officially breaded Donny as a musician.
