IamLoskii, also known as D'Angelo Lewis, is a hip hop artist from the Westside of Detroit, MI. He grew up all across the state of Michigan, however, raised primarily in or near Detroit for the majority of his life. He was the first son of a single mother. The constant movement gave Loskii the opportunity to connect with people of different backgrounds, and helped open his mind to all walks of life. This was one of the experiences that shaped him into the diverse person he is today. lamLoskii has always had a special love for music, but his passion was truly ignited once he was old enough to understand the artistry behind the music. As fate would have it, he stumbled across his career in music accidentally. His younger brother had studio equipment in the house and one day he decided to start recording his own vocals. As he continued to perfect his music, he noticed the emotion he was pouring into his work was felt by others. This not only helped validate his own feelings, but made him realize that he could help impact and influence others through his work as well.
