Hailing from London, Daniel ‘Dander’ Kurek is an 18 year old DJ/Producer, specialising in Tech House. Dander started his journey at the age of 8 years old, when he received his first set of decks, inspired by his favourite videogame at the time: ‘DJ Hero’. He would also begin producing music two years later. Dander has taught himself all that he knows in every step of the way; a factor heavily contributing to his originality. The dichotomy of being a Londoner from Polish descent has had a significant influence on Dander’s style of production. He expertly fuses the energetic grittiness of London’s music scene with Polish precision and passion to create dynamic, captivating art. His productions often incorporate euphoric synths and hard-hitting drums, usually complemented with sharp, powerful basslines, reflecting his youthful nature. Dander’s prodigious career has already seen many successes. At the age of 13, Dander signed his first track. Since then, he has gone on to perform at various world famous venues like Ministry of Sound and EGG, despite his young age. Dander has also gained support from industry heavyweights, including the likes of Sam Supplier, Tough Love, Beyond Chicago, Phil Harris, Terri Anne, Oscar Jamo and more. Currently, Dander’s future continues to look bright. Now that his age is no longer a boundary, he is pushing his horizons farther than he ever could before, seizing all the opportunities that present themselves to him with each new day.
