Biography

Francesca earned her voice degree at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan and the Master’s degree at the Conservatory G. Frescobaldi in Ferrara where she studied with Mirella Freni. Francesca attended master-classes with Luciano Pavarotti and studied with Alessandra Molinari and Sonia Prina. She is currently perfecting her technique with Fernando C.Opa and V.Genaux. Francesca won a finalist prize at the London Haendel Singing competition in London; she won the second prize at the F. Provenzale competition in Naples. In 2012 she has been selected to participate at the Rossini Academy directed by Alberto Zedda,and the first critic’s prize of the Festival Baroque Evenings of Varazdin in Croatia (2014). The many conductors Francesca has worked with include Ottavio Dantone, Michael Hofstetter, Alan Curtis, Andrea Marcon, Alessandro De Marchi, Fabio Biondi, Ivor Bolton, Christophe Coin, Claudio Osele, Claudio Cavina, Mike Fentross, Andrea Marchiol, Marco Mencoboni,Christophe Rousset,George Petrou and others.. Francesca has recorded with Sony International(Deutsche Harmonia Mundi), Berlin Classics, Glossa,Ludi Musici,Amadeus,Fra Bernardo,Ohems,Dynamic. Recordings of her performances have been broadcasted by radio stations SKY Classica, OE2, ARD, ORF, Radio 4NL, Radio France and Radio3 Italy and others.
