Sarab is a mirage. From the initial encounter between the Franco-Syrian singer Climène Zarkan and the French guitarist Baptiste Ferrandis, the duet grew to a full band. The 6 Parisians like to mix the boldness of contemporary jazz music to the rich heritage of traditional Oriental music. Daydreaming to the harmonies of jazz, dancing to the rythms of world music, exulting with the power of rock, Sarab embarks the audience to a journey where intimacy and intensity melt together. After the release of their first album in 2019, they are back with “Arwah Hurra”, an invitation to dive deeper into their universe. They featured special guests like Wassim Halal (darbuka), Abdallah Abozekry (saz) or the French writer Alain Damasio.
