Gruart is César Gruart's take on dark, experimental electronica. An all-analog, hardware-only array of synths, stompboxes, outboard and guitars are performed to layer a dark, moody and evolving sonic scenario that flirts with drone and techno. Confinamiento (Lockdown) was recorded during the spanish lockdown of march and april 2020 due to Covid. It was then subsequently mixed in Gruart's own GrooveArt studios. Those very odd weeks (and what keeps coming afterwards) set the tone for this debut EP. Tracks are named after the 4 different stages of the lockdown, each one with its own distinctive feeling shared then by many. Its lots of bass and dynamics best perform with high quality speakers or headphones, loud volume and no hurry
