ZAV is a producer and DJ from Paris, intertwining various styles that have marked his journey. He began producing alternative music at a young age, recording drums, guitar, bass, and vocals. He quickly discovered electronic music through Disclosure , Kerri Chandler , Joey Negro , swiftly gravitating towards house/tech house, inspired by renowned releases from Hot Creations, with artists like Jamie Jones , Latmun , Sidney Charles and minimal sounds, as well as their rhythmic grooves which spurred his desire to blend genres. Fall 2023, he released a single on the French label Cookie Records, and in 2024, he presented an EP on the Spanish label The Basement Disco as well as an album on the English label Fresh Take Records alongside artists such as Baka G , Naux , Romeo Louisa, and others. He’s inspired by artists like Folamour , Disclosure, or Bellaire , who hold a significant place in the electronic landscape. As the creator of the label House Of Groove, he has been able to release tracks with artists such as Baka G , Yahzi , Vons , Romeo Louisa , Contrecoeur and many names from the sphere will join the label over the year : Sebb Junior , Chinau , Knuckle G , Contrecoeur , Vanderkraft … His ability to mix genres and create unique atmospheres reflects his journey and the diverse influences that have shaped his distinctive sound.
