Niki Chanel is a young female R&B artist born and raised in the music capital, Toronto. Although the artist has only been releasing music since recent years, Niki Chanel always had her mind set on becoming a musician and wrote songs since childhood. During the pandemic's lockdown she took the opportunity to record and release her debut single without having to face her classmates, social anxiety being a big factor as to why the artist had not officially recorded till she was about to turn 18. Recording music played a big part in Niki Chanel's journey not only in music, but in her soul's purpose , to make creation's that create a remembrance to memories or emotions experienced, as the artist has memory loss and uses her recorded music as a landmark in time. Using melodies to weave through stories of personal trauma, hardships, and self discovery, her mission is to let the music find those who need it.
