Edwin Almonte, professionally known as SPK and SPKilla is a renowned Dominican-American record producer and music industry veteran from Queens, New York. With a career spanning over two decades, SPK's production expertise has garnered significant recognition. In 1998, he was appointed as the in-house producer for platinum-selling artist N.O.R.E., producing one song on N.O.R.E.'s self-titled debut album. SPK went on to produce six songs on N.O.R.E.'s second album, "Melvyn Flynt Da Hustler," which sold more than 800,000 copies. SPKilla has continued to produce on every N.O.R.E. album released throughout his career. SPK's impressive portfolio also includes production credits on the platinum-selling Fast and Furious soundtrack, further solidifying his industry credentials. Additionally, his work on "Oye Mi Canto" earned him a Gold certification. A seasoned producer with a proven track record, SPK continues to shape the sound of urban music.
