Julie Benson began her singing career as a young woman fronting an 80’s band in her native Chicago. She decided to head to art school in New York and while she thought singing was just a pastime, after the release of her hit Cream she decided to spend more and more time in the studio, with spectacular results such as her rendition of Snow (Hey Oh). Eve St. Jones was one of her first friends upon arrival to the city and Julie would like to give her a special shout-out for always having her back. She is also grateful for the support of Jamie Lancaster and Cassandra Beck who have provided introductions to some of the amazing musicians she works with.
