Francis Demesi, aka “Franso” was Born and raised in Dandora Nairobi Kenya. He is one of Kenya's fastest-rising Music Producer, Mixing Engineer, and Rapper. Despite growing up in harsh conditions faced with extreme poverty and coming from a low-income family that strives to make ends meet. Franso showed musical interest while in school and started rapping, he became known as the school's rapper, and started performing at a young age. In 2013, Franso started the group Dandora Music School, since then, they made 3 albums and 15 singles together. As the group's leader, Franso also managed and promoted the group on social media networks. In early 2016, he joined a local music school called ‘Light House, in Buru Buru and Jubal Music School in Ngong where he started to learn how to play Acoustic guitar, Piano, and Electric Bass. Franso traveled to Los Angeles, California in 2018 and took production lessons from his mentor Paul Gunby, ever since then, has been producing music using mostly Logic Pro X, making everything from hip-hop to soul, R&B, and Afro-pop. In March 2023, he released his first Debut Album, called “The True Son of The Soil”, featuring many great Kenyan artists, producing everything himself. In June 2023, Franso attended an advanced mixing and mastering course in Berlin, Germany at the Catalyst Institute of Music and Creative Arts, where he was studying with teachers such as Ciaran O’Shea, Phelan Kane, and Charlie Baldwin.
