Mandar is a Singer, Composer, Performer and Vocal Director. Being a performing vocalist and composer over 10 years, He is now pursuing Playback for Film and Advertising Industry. He is also the HOD of Indian Music program at The prestigious True School of Music. He is currently working for Ministry of Skill Development as a Curriculum developer for Industry based Playback and Performance program. Digital Education : He has designed curriculum and content for the Learn to Sing Music Learning App which is one of the most popular apps for Indian Music Education on digital platforms. Background: His Journey in Music started as Tabla student with Pt. Chandrashekhar Vaze at the age of 5. Learning under a gurukul system in from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and meanwhile started learning Hindusthani Classical Vocals from Pt. Raghunathbua Vaze (Jaipur Gharana), Pt. Narayanrao Deshpande (Kirana Gharana), Chandrakant Koli (Natyasangeet) and Pt. Arun Kashalkar. He participated and won several inter school and inter college competitions around Tabla and Singing during his engineering education. After working as a Recording and Live sound engineer in several studios and venues for 4 years he was a founding member of the Band “Moksh” and performed all over the India. The band was known to be India’s First Rag Metal Fusion Band and a well appreciated Marathi Rock Band. He also won a Best Vocalist award at a prestigious stage of Yamaha Asian Beat-2009.
