Lerato Abel Mogale (born 8 June 1998), better known by his stage name King V is a South African rapper, songwriter and producer from the West of Johannesburg but Originally from Polokwane in the province of Limpopo. The best rapper you've never heard of. Started taking music seriously at 16 and he hasn't looked back since. Since then he has released numerous songs and projects which started with his first ever release called JEALOUSY in 2017 which which garnered an article from Slikour and he also opened up for Nasty C that same year . His music trajectory took a bit of a slump being away from all the noise which he stated was a really challenging time for him but he knew he'd be back to continue making a name for himself and sacrificed alot of his music. During Covid was when he put in his "10000 hours" of work which has led to an impressive run of single releases that are currently his audience's favourites. Since his first release in 2017 he released numerous singles and 6 mixtapes, "Cool Calm & Collected" being his most notified. He has a catalogue of great music, from THE PLAN(2018) to HEAVYWEIGHT(2019) to DIBAS (2020), H20 FLOW (2021), INGOZI (2022), CHECKMATE (2022), RUN IT AGAIN (2023) and most recently BE SOMETHING(2023) which also has a music video out on Youtube. He has been on a successful run of releases in 2023 and is set to drop an EP called "Broke Till 24" in September.
