Robin is a versatile composer, producer, and classically-trained cellist who effortlessly blends the worlds of commercial and classical music. Her work spans a wide emotional range, from quirky and whimsical motifs to sweeping, heart-wrenching melodies. At the core of her sound is the lush layering of solo and section strings, intertwined with pop-infused beats and shimmering synths. Robin also specialized in crafting Baroque-style orchestral covers of pop hits, infusing modern music with a timeless twist. With deep roots in classical music and a lifelong love for pop and jazz, Robin creates contemporary scores for stage, screen, and special events. Raised in the vibrant musical scene of the San Francisco Bay Area, Robin continued her cello studies at Oberlin Conservatory, Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, and the Eastman School of Music. She’s performed under the direction of iconic conductors such as Michael Tilson Thomas and Christoph Eschenbach, playing in orchestras across North America and Asia. Robin has also shared the stage with a diverse roster of artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Diana Krall, Manhattan Transfer, John Pizzarelli, and Chuck Mangione. Robin's music has been used by TV shows on ABC, Hulu, and networks across Europe.
