Anne-Kathrin Dern is a German film and game composer, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She is mostly known for her scores to the animated Netflix Original "Fearless" (2020), the Netflix Christmas trilogy "The Claus Family" (2020-2023), Samuel Goldwyn's horror thriller "The Devil Conspiracy" (2023), and various Hallmark Media titles. Her video game works include Tencent Games' "Honor of Kings" (2022-2023), Riot Games' "League of Legends" (2022), and iGG's "Lords Mobile" (2016), "Galaxy Mobile" (2019), and "Castle Clash" (2019). Her upcoming score releases include Vertigo Games' "Metro Awakening" (2024) and Blue Eyes Fiction's "Woodwalkers" (2024). Earlier in her career, she has collaborated with and assisted composers such as Klaus Badelt, Christopher Lennertz, Alan Menken, Steve Jablonsky, Pinar Toprak, William Ross, and more. Dern is an active member of the Academy for Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Television Academy. With over 48,000 subscribers, she runs a successful educational YouTube channel, and as part of the SCL early career committee, she frequently contributes to resources for aspiring composers.
