Biography

h e r e a f t e r. is an instrumental post-rock solo endeavor by multi instrumentalist Rob Evraets Jr. Hereafter creates huge soundscapes mixed with intense energy and emotion, beautiful decays of reverb, dark heavier sounds, and even the occasional breakdown. Although heavily influenced by bands like Deftones, Moving Mountains, Hubris, Armor for Sleep, and many more, he has created his own distinct and memorable sound that has evolved with each release he’s put out. "a compelling fusion of post-rock, post-hardcore, emo, and metal elements" - IDIOTEQ "creating dynamic and emotionally relevant instrumental music." - Tome to the Weather Machine "The greatest strength of Hereafter and Life is a Beautiful War is the ability take the listener on a journey - an incredibly vast and dynamic journey that holds nothing back emotionally. These movements make the entire album such a powerful statement that we rarely see in this genre any more." - Tome to the Weather Machine "It’s a thoroughly invigorating album that circumnavigates all of the pitfalls of modern post-rock and presents listeners with twelve tracks (basically two albums worth of material for most bands of the genre!) that consistently proves a joy to listen to." - Heavy Blog is Heavy "Such beautiful music with lively dynamics, exciting stories, long compositions, cinematic vibes, and progressive instrumentation." - Metalhead Community All songs written, performed, produced, mixed, and mastered by Rob Evraets Jr.
