Biography

Karol Radziwonowicz - a pianist educated in Poland and USA with years of performing experience in various musical centers throughout Europe, North and South America, Australia, Africa and Asia. He has performed at many very much know concert halls in the world: Isaac Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall in New York, Musik Festspielehause in Salzburg, Berliner Philharmonic Chamber Concert Hall, Concertgebouw Great Concert Hall in Amsterdam, Hermitage Theater in w St. Petersburg, Moscow Conservatory Concert Hall, UNESCO Concert Hall in Paris, Great Concert Hall in "Forbidden City" in Beijing. He is the only pianist in the world whose recordings of Fryderyk Chopin's pieces were placed in space, on the orbital station, and were listened during the "Endeavor" space mission in February 2010 - on the 200th birthday of our genius composer. The film with the recordings of the pianist documenting this event was awarded the Grand Prix prize and the statuette of the "Golden Angel" at the International Documentary Film Festival in Monaco 2012. He has recorded all piano works of Ignacy Jan Paderewski, and together with the string quintet I Solisti di Varsavia, all orchestral works of Chopin in chamber arrangements. He has released various CD with polish music of romantic composers such Karol Mikuli and Juliusz Zarębski. His recording on the occasion of Chopin Year - “The Chopin Mastepieces” was recorded in 2009 on a very special Bösendorfer piano - model Chopin.
