Rey Jama Reggaeton and Hip -Hop artist, who takes you on a ride with track after track that makes you bounce. Keep in mind he has a soft side. He isn't called " El Rey De Muchas Voces " - The King Of Many Voices for nothing. From Hip-Hop to Reggaeton, Chicano Rap and G-Funk. Age 7 or 8, he got his first guitar. His parents exposed him to many artist's growing up. Marc Anthony, Debbie Deb, Sa-Fire, Cover Girls and Son By 4. BoyzIIMen, Dr. Dre, Paulina Rubio, Luis Miguel, and others. He took advantage of language arts and music classes. Playing Djimbe, Tubanos, Congas, Claves, and Maracas was second nature. Starting in 2003, inspired by his friends to take up music. They'd freestyle before classes, lunch and after school. They made their first demo on a karaoke machine. Soon after, his cousin introduced him to a friend and recorded Rey's first track called "Para La Noche". His style is considered a laid back mix of east coast lyricism, west coast bounce with dashes of Spanish influence. Mmm that Sazon Papa! Born July 15, 1987, growing up going back and forth to Central Ohio and Southern California. In his early teens, he lived in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. From 2007- 2012, he joined the U.S. Army, traveled to a few other states and South Korea for a few years. He is a lover of many genres but sites artists such as N2Deep, Tupac, Daddy Yankee, Trinere, Hector Lavoe, Lil Rob, and MC Lyte as a few influences. Rey Jama is an artist to keep an eye on. The King is here!
