Born in Huddersfield, a small yet progressive town in the heart of Yorkshire I had a variety of musical influences. Huddersfield carnival was a big part of my childhood and being strongly tied to my Carriacou roots 'big drum' and freestyling rhythm with words and african dance was something I learnt to explore from a very young age with the encouragement of my grandad and great Aunt whom were first generation Windrush and strong leaders of the Carribean community in Huddersfield . Moving to London just before my teens I discovered the Brit School where I studied music for 3 years and alongside my studies I grew up around alot of grime artists and would record in Tottenham developing my craft , writing choruses for grime artists such as Subten, Potter Payper and Luke Reid (crazy cousins).
