Soprano Siri Karoline Thornhill regularly excites audiences and the press, who attested to her "crisply clear coloraturas" and "beautifully balanced Mozart register art". She performs with renowned conductors and ensembles and makes guest appearances at numerous festivals such as the Handel Festival Halle, Festival for Early Music Bruges, Sydney Festival, Esterhazy Haydn Festival, Bach Festival Leipzig. Directed by Iván Fischer she sang Bach's «St Matthew Passion" at the Konzerthaus Berlin, was engaged for the "Christmasoratorio" by Diego Fasolis and sang concerts in the Netherlands with the Concertgebouw Kamerorkest under Gijs Leenars. The 2021/22 season is also rich in highlights, including concerts with the Ensemble Orlando Fribourg and the Freitagsakademie Bern, her debut at the RSB Berlin under the direction of Rinaldo Alessandrini and the opening concert of the Bach week Stuttgart 2022 with Hans-Christoph Rademann. An important area of her work is the opera: she sang Donna Anna in Beaune directed by Sigiswald Kuijken, Pamina in Kristiansand, Orasia in Telemann's "Orpheus" at TfN Hildesheim. In 2019, directed by Paul Goodwin, she appeared in Bach's "St. Johns Passion" in a ballet version at Oper Leipzig. Numerous CD recordings documents her artistic work, including the recording of "Through his Teeth" (Luke Bedford) and a recording of Grieg songs with Reinhild Mees.
