Calling on his inspiration from Mac Miller, Post Malone, Tai Verdes, and many more, Ark turned his inner demons, anguish, and personal experiences into the artform that he revolved his life around as a child. Growing from his former moniker, The Arketype, he has evolved his art style into something he believes the masses can enjoy. Songs like his latest singles (lonely road and gone and forgotten) have helped Ark prove to himself that he has what it takes to become a successful artist. Ark released his debut album, Heartbreak Motel, on August 18th, 2023. Telling a story about a man throwing away his life over his own poor decisions, Ark hopes to reach an entirely new audience and garner some attention and recognition with this record. Hailing from Gadsden, Alabama, where other famous artists like Yelawolf and Clever are from, Ark was born on August 19th, 1999. Always being the youngest in his class, Ark felt that he always had something to prove as a child. Like he had a chip on his shoulder. In his small town of Gadsden, he found that Hip Hop was something that was frowned upon. At first, as an act of rebellion, then later as he fell in love with the sound, he has since put Pop Rap on his forefront with the dream of changing the old-minded opinions of his small hometown for the better.
