Recording Artist Lil Keisha, born Keisha Coleman, was raised on Chicago’s West Side. From a young age, Lil Keisha was a music enthusiast with influences including Missy Elliot, R. Kelly, Tupac, Lauren Hill and other greats. At the age of 10, Lil Keisha formed a music group with her younger sister and called themselves, Unique. In an industry that's challenging for young women to move beyond stereotypes, she has embraced her own unique style, setting trends and earning the respect, admiration, and loyalty of her fan base. Lil Keisha took matters into her own hands, creating an all female CypHER in 2016, bringing Unity to the forefront. She has taken on a philanthropic role as well, organizing community events, feeding the homeless, and recently creating a Back to School book bag giveaway. In her own words, "Put the guns down and get your hustle up!" Lil Keisha has released a multitude of videos on YouTube and a series of mixtapes, entitled RBM (Real B**** Motivation). She’s performed at shows throughout the Midwest, while also opening for popular mainstream artist such as Dej Loaf and Migos. In the Fall of 2017, Lil Keisha brought her own seat to the table debuting her highly anticipated EP, “Bride of Chucky”, featuring Chicago megastar Shawnna. She turned it up another level with the release of her single “Waves”. As she displays her versatility rapping, writing, producing, Lil Keisha is the powerful new wave of the music culture.
