Biography

Mixing a dark metalesque aesthetic with a retro-90s techno sound, Sukkubator debuts with the full length album Nekkro Tekkno in November 2023. Over the last few years he’s been forging his style through remixes, techno covers of metal songs, smaller releases including a cassette demo, and live performances pushing his music outside the forms established on records. Retro Tekkno Nekkro Tekkno (Cassette Demo with a Xeroxed Cover) sums up Sukkubator’s earlier output. It contains two 2022 singles: Nekkro Tekkno and Funeral Fog Machine, a live version of the second track and its dub remix by Echo Deal, plus new versions of Land of the Dead (a remix of Ludzie-muchomory by Signal to Noise Ratio) and Reincarnation (a remix of Narodziny by Syrbski Jeb).   The cherry on top is the cottage synth version of Nekkro Tekkno, performed in its entirety on a Yamaha PSR-41 keyboard from 1987, functioning daily as summer cottage furniture. The track is accompanied by a fake-VHS video presenting the environment of its creation and showing all of the parts performed. Retro Tekkno Nekkro Tekkno is available physically, on bandcamp and on streaming platforms. Two other singles appeared in 2022 – a remix of Saw the Damp by the Portuguese neokraut band 10 000 Russos and Taka jest decyzja, a technopunk collab with Generalny Wykonawca. Sukkubator is a solo project of Przemek Piłaciński, based in Warsaw, Poland.
